Buy the saw then buy the handle that I doesn't come with. I've used both the 1/2 and full-wrap handles at different times on my Dolmar 9010 and love having the choice readily available. Both have pros and cons and you might situations where one is truly better than the other.

Is the 620 coil worth the money on a ported 590? My 590 tags the limiter and seems like it wants to turn more RPM. I' sure the extra timing wouldn' hurt either.

Not really, nothing wrong with tuning in the wood above the limiter.

Not very likely to run above the limiter in wood.

Can file the key to get the timing advance.

Now If the coil were the normal 20-30$ it would be different. But 100-120$ meh. Hard to justify.

I don't really see a need in the unlimited coil except ease of tuning. I just did some mods to a guys at work, and tuning it was no problem in wood. Unless the saw is hitting the limiter in wood fug it lol

Del builds a good saw. Never seen him talked about except by other people that have saws he did. It' fun with a 20 and really doesn' lose anything with a 24. rocked the 7910 chain. Bucked the whole tree down with the 590 and 24.
