Looking at getting some spare Fuel Line to have on hand. I try avoiding using fuel that contains Ethanol, but if I'm working on someone else's equipment, that might not be the case. I've seen the crumbled hoses. Tygon seems to be a viable replacement, but what is used/recommended all the pros/experts?

My Echos use 3mm X 5mm and 3mm X 6mm lines. I was looking at Echo's 90014 (3mm X 5mm) and 90015 (3mm X 6mm) bulk hoses and read it is safe for fuels containing up to 10% Ethanol. Then I read on the boxes, "...Must Not be used on the fuel tank to carburetor inlet on engines/equipment built after 12/31/2011." Am I the only one this statement confuses? My saws were built after this, but these are the hoses listed in the IPL!

Thanks in Advance. Stay safe and blessed.

Thank you much Czed.

I primarily use Manufactured Fuel in my small equipment and can also obtain Ethanol Free Gasoline in Maryland or Delaware, so it would be more of a concern for something I work on for others.

I am still curious about the statement on the side of the Echo bulk hose box. Ahhh the EPA!

Take care and stay blessed.

@Duke Thieroff offers rolls of Shindaiwa bulk fuel line in different sizes - sawsalvage.co

I've had excellent luck with the Shindaiwa line. It's likely made at the same place as the Echo line.
