Let's get some tape on the dyno and settle the who's who of tactile ductile tape. Send your tape in for full test, print out graph of sheer strength, max torque etc.

Hopefully Philbert will soon be testing some duck tapes performance. :)

And Philbert, taking a knife/scalpel doesn't count. ;)

I liked the last Nashua tape I found.
About 15 years ago:
I used it to make an air skirt on a Murray, rear bagger push mower.
The leaves tended to blow out the sides due to the air flow from two blades and having the bag on, which chokes off a fair bit of the air flow through the deck.

Memory fades now, but was either a wavy mulcher blade and a "gator" blade or else to Gators mounted cross ways (as per above link).
Cleared up the those danged little willow oak acorns after I made the duct tape skirt for it.
I couldn't find any of that same tape anywhere though.
Not sure if I have the part number anymore.
Punched in the numbers from the core, online, but always came up nla. Couple of local shops didn't have it either.
