This saw is awsome and I came across a twin like this with a chance to buy one a while back ( not running ) but was scared off buy lack of parts availability. Is it easy to find Echo parts there?

Thing that sucks about the 510 is its a clamshell block but I like it
Yep agree for clamshell! Last month tried one on old Stihl 084, really sucked since I did not have this type of crank case puller in hand. But was able to do it with some 'modified triangler positioning' lol. I used these green marked thread holes for splitting them.

HelloDub thank you for watching and leaving comments, glad you got a good chance for one of her sisters there! No need to be discouraged with the lack of parts IMHO, you can fabricate some parts on your own actually in a way I tried some for her. Anyways these parts are very rare here too, so we old saw freaks more often have to make it, as far making a parts, a part of our enjoyment, lol.
My old girl came to me with dirt and scares on her too, see below;

Her brake band was missing;

and her brake post got a crack on the front wall;

Will show some more pics of minor repairs.

This fabrication of pipes begins with designing, firstly visit JavaPipe site to download a file, then after installation fill out the factors in the dialog, and click! You will get a view like this;
11000rpm_500c_22mm_2.gif
Red letters illustrate the pipe, which I added here.
I put the Transfer Port Angle as 120degrees, but now I think I should have better chosen at least 110 for this. Shame was that I did not make a check on this with my flesh.
This means 130 - 120 = 10,
so the time gap between the exhaust-port-openning and transfer-port-openning was estimated as only 5 degrees,
while
the time gap between the exhaust-port-closing and transfer-port-closing was also estimated as only 5 degrees,
and they make 10 degrees in total.

But this 5 degrees of time gaps for each of the in and out ports seems, even for this small cylinders, a little too small.
I will check it when I have a chance to see her inside again in the future though, lol.

Very cool, looks like you have quite a bit of time in that saw.
Thanks Deets066, I have been wanting to accomplish much faster response on triggers, yes I am quite soaked in saws, lol

Thank you for the info and the links I really appreciate it
You are welcome!

First place the cut sheet on the roller and press it ;

Move it forward a little ;

Give it some good taps to better round ;

See it with a lot of care ;

Done!! ;

For smaller ends of the cones, you can modify the positioning of the roller, will post more.

Modify the positioning of the roller for cones,

Bending_cone_00.JPG

Place a cut sheet and give some good bending on both of the axial ends.

Bending_cone_01.jpg Then give bending to the rest with your hands.
Make an inner pad if needed, a baseball bat can be a good candidate;

Shape it to get better straight lines;
