What I was looking for was chip path (yellow) and width (blue) to see if they were the same or different. Just because the clutch cover is wider doesn’t mean noodles will clear better... however the height and width (blue) seem to be about the same. I do like the 6100 anti-crush sleeves since they are wider but don’t think wider is necessary either.
As nice as the entire inner rash plate is on the 6100... you’d think they would have put on an outer rash guard of some sort and I would take an extra 2oz to have a rear rubber guard in the back of the clutch cover for extra case/tank protection (IE 7900 style). For those that noodle though... you can cut out that back 1/3 of your clutch cover for extra clearance. If you are ordering a 5600 clutch cover for dual bucking spikes you’d have the 6100 original to cut up for specific noodling purposes... of course I am not suggesting you expose the chain and cause a safety issue...
