The new pistons work well over the stock windowed variety. Thanks for starting this thread it is one of the best in a while.
Hopefully it doesn't get mucked up too bad.
A lot going on there big question is if it is an improvement over the 7900 piston. The 7910 was decreased in power was this part of it? Why would they switch? Cheaper manufacturing?
I wonder how much lighter the new piston is... two grams or 20 grams? Hmm...The new pistons work well over the stock windowed variety.
The drop in HP from the 7900 - 7910 was related to the exhaust design.
The SLR muffler is usually the 1st thing that gets changed when people are modding. next, the uber low limited coil on the 7910. The jugs are fine IIRC.
That was the first and only time my PS-6400 was set up with my 36" B&C setup and it was only for comparison purposes.36" bar on the 6400 was just a little too much. But still a nice job with the videos.
My PS-7310 sat on the shelf before I cut the SLR out and opened the outlet, now I have a hard time leaving her on the shelf in order to give the others a little play time - huge difference! The new pistons work well over the stock windowed variety.

Yes sir. That's what my 395 is for
The 9010 oils the 36" plenty.
So I use it for long bar duty.
