I very much like the dolmar long scimitar shaped dogs. Short on the bottom so when you first dig in, it doesn’t stall the chain/clutch but long on the top to keep the flag/knuckles/muffler off the log at the bottom of a bucking cut on a larger log.

The two on the far right, do those go on Klingon chainsaws?
I know I am missing something regarding Your question and I apologize beforehand!

All three spike sets are for Dolmar/Makita 64xx/73xx/79xx chainsaws and are direct bolt on interchangeable.

The US Style 1 set in the middle is usually being referred to as "Star Trek", "Klingon" & "Bat'leth" due to its similar look of the Klingon battle sword.

Did I answer anything or did I miss everything?

I think, the choice of dogs is merely a matter of personal taste, although I admit, the european-spec Dolmar supplied dogs are a little too small.
Even if we usually don't have trees with coarse bark, cutting some oaks or even poplar you'd wish to have larger spikes.
On the other hand, I personally don't like the US-spec dogs, neither US1 nor US2. IMHO they look ridiculously pimp-like.
So my personal favorites are the Solo dawgs: Noticeable larger then the Dolmar ones but still decent looking:

But after all it comes down to personal need and taste

Nope, you are spot on, those felling dogs look like something a Klingon would be swinging around!
