common I m living about 30-60 min away from you. But beech, oak, ash and poplar are often big enough that bucking with 36 bar is a lot easier with that.

Well your mileage may vary and I don't mind anyone wanting a 36" or even longer B&C.
I for one have never seen any need for such long bars and their shortcomings IMHO overcome
their usefulness. But then again I wouldn't argue...

Long bar shortcomings.
Not what "she said"! LOL :p

I find 20" to cover most of what I cut.
The exception is my own log pile where 24+" are required, and when cutting really small diameter stuff in which case I increasingly utilize mid sized PH's and 16" bars.
It all depends what You use Your saws for, there is no ONE setup to cover all the bases. :)

I run 20" bars on my 50 cc & 57 cc Husky 345 & 357 . My 5105H has a 20 " & 7900 I run 24 " & 28 " depending on what I am felling or bucking . I routinely run a 36" on my P-51 on larger pine / for cutting applications .

This is *B-S..... A black coloured body is the best to radiate heat off. The very reason why piston-aircraft-engines always were painted black!

Sorry my post wasn’t very clear the muffler was discoloured but should be better
With the catylist taken out
