A longer B&C would have made even more fun!

This was my cars trunk yesterday, left to right: PS-7310, PS-7300, PS-550, PS-6100 MMWS, PS-6400.
All but the PS-6400 came out to play, one tank of fuel/oil each, dull chain on each.

The oak firewood logs were mostly covered in dry mud.

Wasn't much fun but the log pile has been successfully dismantled into rounds.DSC02435.JPG

Delivery of a beech firewood log truck load is pending.
Not my firewood BTW, bucked it for an acquaintance free of charge - I didn't even use his fuel and oil.

I always use my own fuel mix too. Just to be safe.

Yeah, it's cheap insurance and one thing less to worry about.

Though I will be using his B&C oil on the next firewood log load.
I keep using my own for other peoples firewood and I am noticing my supply running lower with each log pile bucked.
A liter of B&C oil costs more than a liter of fuel, but involves much lower risk - no reason not to use fresh B&C oil supplied by someone else.

Same here for bar/chsin oil.
More expensive than fuel but Rural King has all season B&C oil all the time for right around $5 a gallon jug. Been using it for 3 years, no complaints or problems. Probably 10 gallons in the shed, I try to grab a gallon every time I go to pick up feed.
