It does have an impressive flywheel, which I agree with you is providing some torque. I have been on the fence for this saw for awhile, but I gave in, and my 462 and 572 are home now at least for this job. They just don’t seem to have as much torque, which is mostly what I like. Could just be new saw feelings, but it really is pulling better compared to them with the 32. I don’t mind tuning a carb, so that’s not an issue, and I really don’t notice any sort of weight difference between the 7900 and the 572.
