Just received my 133 from @Guido Salvage ,
Thanks Gary!
Showed up fast, well packaged and as described.
I can tell already that this is going to be a favorite.
Going to take a bit to get running again.
The good:
Looks low hour, dirty and grime from sitting but doesn’t have the caked in crap and wounds of a battle worn saw.
Cylinder and piston so far look good, compression feels good.
Saw has spark.
Lots and lots of magnesium.
The bad:
Parts availability.
Missing parts- so far here is the list,
Fuel cap, air filter, air filter cover, bar nuts, recoil screws, top cover screws.
Chain brake parts.
Dry rot- fuel line shattered when I touched it.
All in all it’s just the kind of project I like, can’t wait to tear into it.
My experience is mostly Stihl saws, this if my first Dolmar, I’ve only had one across the bench before but all I did was close the bar rails and dress it, saw ran great but wouldn’t hold he chain.
So far I’m seeing similarities to a 2 series Husqvarna.
I’ll get it out to the shop for some pics as soon as I can.
Thanks Gary!
