If they're not damaged you can save these pin connectors, but these were and stihl don't sell the wiring harness for the 088 and don't sell the pin connectors. Did some measurements and figured out I could make my own from 3mm (1/8") brass tubing and then just do the rest of the re-wiring like normal.
Cut a small piece off slightly larger than the finished connector, heat the end up and then neck it down by spinning the drill pressing the tip into something hard to form a domed end.
Cut off to length.
Heat the other end up and gently flare the end. I used a dead centre from my lathe, but anything with a taper works.
Install the wire and solder the wires at the tip.
