I've seen references to using a flywheel puller to mount a degree wheel, so I set mine up like that, but with a slight improvement for ease of adjustment.

The flywheel puller I acquired had a 12 x 1 .25 metric bolt, so I drilled the degreee wheel center hole to 12 mm. Back side of the degree wheel has a flanged nut with set screw and rubber washer.

Tighten the flanged nut against the rubber washer to make the degree wheel hard to slip, then lock it in place with the set screw. To adjust the degree wheel, put a 19mm wrench on the bolt head and rotate it.

With the nut tight enough, you can adjust the wheel if you need, but it stays put when you want it to. Set screw on the flanged nut prevents rotation and maintains good friction between the bolt and degree wheel.

Made this up so I didn't have to drill the degree wheel. Flare nut for 3/16 brake line tapped to 6mm
