As this is an ms261 kinda thread I'll share this. When I clean the air filter I only ever have very fine dust in the filter. I plugged up the air injection port from the fan housing and have noticed the fines are not as bad. I've only run a few tanks through the saw this way but I am liking what I see. And yes I use sharp chains, but with the dry hardwoods I cut fines are part of the deal along with normal chips.

I had mixed emotions on outerwears but they work really well on the 241/261/362 , i was tryin a few things one day and after 3 tanks with the outerwears on a 261 the air filter was literally spotless.

So what outerwear do you use on the 261? I don't see the 261 listed on outerwears website.
