Yeah, you got it all wrong, supposed to have a spark plug in the decomp hole, runs better and stuffs.

It’s sad that the husky one is cheaper than the shihl one, look identical except the color, I guess another way to make a stihl better...husky parts.... can’t believe it hasn’t already been said!!!!! Lol

The husky decomp has two holes in it that let more pressure out. Work better on high compression saws. Lotta guys put them on modded 660’s and stuff that pop the stock decomp out too easily.

After the jug was removed, a small bump was found inside the intake.
From the outside, JB weld was applied to keep the air leaks in check.
Jug was found to be ported right through the intake side.
It was good enough for who it's for.
*Waiting for the new rubber bits, but Permatex is on hand!
Hogged they say it was! Go big and fill with JB.
