What the others said, a barbed fitting that fits the hose on your tester would be better. What your building is what we used to use when changing valve springs on cars without tearing the heads off. Hook the compressor hose to the fitting and pressurize the cylinder to hold the valves in place.View attachment 46824 Gonna try to make a homemade adapter for the plug hole using an old plug so I can press /vac test easier.
This is where I'm at. I found the nipple in muh tool box.
Am I on the right track?
I'll look for a barbed fitting at the hardware store this week!Needs to be barbed Jeremy. Unless you're looking to connect the entire Saw to your compressor, but then you can't do vacuum.
Hardest part is getting the porcelain out of the spark plug. They can be stubborn!
Hardest part is getting the porcelain out of the spark plug. They can be stubborn! Once you have the barbs that match the hose on your Mityvac, JB weld is all you need. While your at it, make up a 10mm one too for smaller saws blowers etc.
Guess maybe I should look huh?My Mittvac came a plug hole fitting for vac tests.g
