Hi, this is my 1st zero-turn. It is a 2020 with 170 hrs, when I engage pto the whole deck jumps. Today I removed the belt, checked all spindles and pulleys..everything seems good. I’ve had it going on a year, read online where quite a few people complain about it dying when it engages..never had that happen. Any ideas or is this just the nature of the beast…Thanks

So it's done this since you've owned it or just started? Electric PTO clutch?

No, not factory
I had an old Murray rider 40" . When the factory blades wore out, I put gator blades on it, twice as thick and heavy. The deck would shake when I engaged the blades until it got up to speed, then it would smooth out.

Nature of the beast, especially if the blades are heavier than stock. The lighter the deck, the more it jumps. 42" deck like yours doesn't weigh much.
