I'm probabaly coming up early Saturday morning and staying over till Sunday.

Not sure if Friday night is in the cards for me.

I have an Alaskan Milling Bracket and a 36" bar hooked up to my MMWS066. I can bring it up if you guys wanna play.

I'm gonna try to get a few saws built before the event. Namely, my Christmas saw and the NWP026. Times not on my side though. By next Friday, I will have worked 24 of the 26 calendar days since September 18th.

Let me know what to bring. I'm good for the burgers and dogs again. There's no sausage left, but I can bring up the mozzarella curd. I can probably grab bread in the Boogie Down on the way up Saturday morning.
Your 064 is one I'm sending.

Hey Bill @wcorey do you know if at least the motorcycle brake dyno could be used at the GTG in November?
If a bunch of guys send saws to go on the dyno and we don't have it operational I'll feel bad big time!
I know the main sprocket was showing signs of wear and possibly needed some attention.

If for some reason we don't have a dyno working again can always save shipping at least some of the saws until next time we've got one going!

Sorry but no guarantee on a working dyno in 4 weeks... Took a much needed break from it over the summer and have had very little free time of late, just got home from work at 12am and heading back out in the morning.

I've started from scratch on a completely new dyno with 5-1 reduction, have already fabricated the basic chassis/driveline and I know where I'm going with the rest of it but still a lot of work left to do.
I still haven't found a suitable hydraulic unit to hang off of it, I want side load capability and that seems to be the sticking point.
A lot of them just don't specify it at all and I don't want to chance buying one I'm unsure of.

The m'cycle brake setup needs work to go back together and I really dislike the idea of wasting time on it just to use for one day. That and I consider the mechanical difficultly in getting repeatable runs and resulting inconsistent data renders it to be of limited value anyway...

I also have a schedule conflict for the 4th, I'll work around it one way or other...

Hey Bill-

No worries at all. Bottom line if guys were thinking of sending saws just for them to be dynoed you may want to wait!
But -- don't let that stop you from sending saws so we can run them and have some friendly competition!

This will take pressure off me too -- I would feel really bad if a whole bunch of saws came in and something failed on the electronics preventing us from running etc. I'm thinking winter time when stuck inside due to piles of snow dyno work can get done.

My saw will be there either way, dyno or not

You should bring your saw AND your arse with you. Can't complain about having saws shipped in, but wish you guys from afar could make it! It really helps when you can surround yourself with guys who suffer from the same disease.

We will probably have more fun. Just run saws and chat! The dyno is cool but it took a lot of time.

I agree. We can have a dyno clinic as a separate event. I'd be happy to host at my place like we did last time!
