I have a model CMXGTAMD25CC gas trimmer. Keeps slowing down and stopping. There are 2 fuel lines.....one is connected to the filter; the other is very short and only goes into the tank about one inch or so. Am I missing part of a hose?

No. The short one is primer return. Likely it needs new diaphragms, or the rear cover of the engine is loose and sucking air there.

OK. Thank you. I also noticed that the gas in the tank is a 50:1 ratio, but the manual calls for 40:1. Is that an issue too?
