Well the second set of hinges worked perfectly. I'm happy to have this project finished...I really need a shop!

I’ve had to isolate outside away from my family during this, since I work for a transporting Fire Dept
My oldest at home daughter has pre-existing respiratory issues from birth and is highly susceptible to distress and hospitalizations and sees specialists at both kaiser and UCSF.
Shower, outhouse, cooking/ eating area and wash station all made with stuff on hand
Its like being away at a fire, but they can see me from the house
Been 3 weeks now

One thing I've noticed that's not being talked about with this virus is if you get it, and you survive it, what happens ten, fifteen, twenty years from now? Does it come roaring back
like Varicella and make you sicker than before? Does it stay latent in your system and occasionally flare back up like herpes simplex? People that survived bird flu have been shown
to be much more prone to upper respiratory tract infections and even mild ones can really knock them down.

Nobody really knows yet. Speculations include lasting pulmonary damage that may take 15 years to heal. Rumor has it you can be reinfected shortly after recovery with the second bout far worse than the first. I honestly don't have enough confidence in our testing at this point, or the info coming in from some other nations to trust some of what is being said. Especially when most of it is just theory and conjecture because we don't really have a grasp of it yet. Sweden's lead epidemiologist, who went against the shutdown norm, is claims to have 10 to 15 percent population immunity and hoping to have 'herd immunity,' which is 60+ % of the population is a few weeks. Yet nobody really knows what, if any, immunity we can build or how long it will last. I do however really hope he is right. It will have come at a cost for them, but in the end it will be worth it. It really sucks that people die, especially when it is someone you love and care about. The economic toll of this shutdown is going to be suffered for generations though. I'm really glad I don't have to make the hard choices...

Splurged on a new tile saw. My other one is also a Ridgid and I’ve cut a lot of tile with it over the last ten years or so. This one is a 10”, the other one has a 7” blade.

I looked at the DeWalt also but I really like the way the Ridgid stand folds up, and it also has wheels so I can roll it around.

Our local municipality won't let you do a foundation and live in the basement here anymore. I've heard lots of stories of that method back in the day

Small town small territory...
We are losing the ability to be free anymore, just watch what freedom's will be gone after the whole covid mess is finished.
Up here the majority of sheepole seem fine with getting rid of cash as a way of paying for stuffs, last time i was in the big city you couldn't spend cash for anything.
The gooberments will piss down both legs if they can get into a cashless society.
