I didn't see it in game, but I caught it when I got to watch a few minutes of SportsCenter this weekend. Anyone see the tribute to Sam Foltz (sp?) Nebraska did on their first 4th down? Sam was their punter, and was killed in a car accident in July. They all lined up but no punter and took the delay of game. I thought that was a neat tribute to a fallen player. I don't like Nebraska, but it's stuff like this that makes college ball so much better than professional.

It was a great tribute to the young man. Gone way too soon in life.

@huskihl a few years ago my wife and I attended a football game @ the Big House vs. I believe it was Delaware State. Their cheerleaders put on a show that was straight from a strip club. It was amazing.

My Dawgs won today, but if not for one play that changed the game, who the hell knows. Nicholls State came into Dawg country, Athens, Ga, and damn near got it...ended up 26-24. If the Dawgs don't start tightening some damn screws, it's liable to be a helluva season. The Dawgs asserted nothing today playing at home. Take a win anyway you can get one, but damn. And take nothing from Nicholls State...those boys came to play and played a damn good game.

Yes the Chippewas. Unbelievable play. Working in Oklahoma as we speak. Heavy Ok State country. May have to mention it tonight a couple times. Lol!!

Just saw a highlight of the pass/lateral at the end of the game. Helluva play.

Understand that point of view...but when you got four defenders around a receiver at the point of catch, by the time he lateralled and into the end zone, he had to dodge another two/three...looking like the Top Ten play of the Week. You'd a thought some defenders would've been better positioned in front of the receiver to bat the ball down and walk off with a win...

Umpires and refs call'em like they see them...the play that led up to the hail marry. It worked is all we know.

Plays like that have happened a hundred times. All it would've taken is one safety or cornerback to methodically lay low in front of the receiver to out jump, bat the ball down, and it would've ended the game for Ok St. All the defenders knew the ball was in the air and coming that way.
