we do have forum members with family on campus, hoping all is well with them
News was pretty sketchy until the official news conference mid-morning.
Fire alarm was tripped at a campus building, students ran outside. The suspect ran up over the curb into the crowd of people. Then he got out and began slashing people with a butcher knife.
Campus police arrived within a minute and shot the suspect dead. 8 people sent to three area hospitals in stable non-life threatening condition and one to the university hospital in critical condition.
Students put on hide in place lock down while area secured and nearby garage was cleared.
Warrants pending for the car and house of the would be killer.
The university and hospitals train for this and many of the emergency docs and personnel made it to the hospitals before the ambulances.
Great response overall to a terrible situation.
Time will tell what the hell is up with the dead criminal.
Drugs, mental illness, just a bad day?

There is a fierce rivalry on the field but they're also human beings, and stand shoulder to shoulder when its needed. The Buckeyes showed class by wearing the Chad Tough sticker on their helmets last year after Lloyd Carr's grandson died of cancer. Devin Gardner went out to midfield and showed respect when JT Barrett blew out his knee. Many of Michigan's players showed support today. Some things in life are bigger than football. Stay strong Bucks[emoji1320]

I watched the recap from the Big 10 website, WOW!!! I guess I should have recorded it to watch the whole thing. The first half wasn't very enjoyable......seemed like it was over.

I'm not a sore asz BUT... after Pitt scored 42 on PSU and won... then M dominated them, they don't deserve to rest ahead in the final rankings. Sure, we lost 2 games, but also didn't get a beat down like the 49-10 PSU got.
