I'm not mad. I've been smiling too. I knew what would happen when I made my first post. Just done with this conversation. I said I would give you the last word, I plan to keep my word.
Meh it was never about “having the last word” for me bud.

Good question. What do I think? I lean towards yes, at least some of the time. In reality, I have no idea, but the trust is broken imo. It is like the boy that cried wolf; he is lying until he is not, but nobody knows the difference. Or, bluffing in poker, right @Woodpecker :) ?
I guess it depends on your definition of knowing the plays. Were they familiar with the plays being run? Sure. There really isn’t much difference between the different systems teams are operating. Cover 2 is cover 2 it doesn’t matter who runs it. There are wrinkles and ways to disguise, but it’s still same same. Did they know every play those teams were going to run and the sequence. Nah that’s not really how it works. The trust for me was broken 25+ years ago when I realized this was all just a big business and the colleges didn’t give two *s-words about me or any other player. That really hasn’t changed.

Same question, but for the other sidelines. Do you think they knew what M was going to run?

Well, the Canes were known cheaters so there is that... :confundio:

:argue:

I could really give 2 chits less about this, FSU just got drilled by the half assed governing body of college sports, for what : offering
to pay a player the inappropriate way by introducing him to a donor/NIL sponsor.

The good ol boys club has changed & either you are in or you are out. They let an outsider in occasionally just to appease the masses. The ncaa a sham of an organization & so is the selection committee.

Carry on.

NCAA president Charlie Baker quote:
“I don’t regret doing it because sitting on that information, given the comprehensiveness of it, I think we would have put everyone including Michigan in an awful place,” Baker said Tuesday night while speaking to a small group of reporters at the NCAA Convention. “At the end of the day, no one believes at this point that Michigan didn’t win the national title fair and square. So I think we did the right thing.”

Growing up in Wisconsin, and going to school in Madison, I’m a Badger fan. That being said, it was very nice to see Michigan win it all. Hats off to them!
Heck yeah! Pretty amazing defense and I'm eager to see how many guys go first round in the draft, and beyond. One thing like him or not, Harbaugh and that program really groom players for the next level. Not just in football, but in life too.

I had to answer his question. He put me on the spot; made me think. I didn't want to ignore him after starting this mess. I did give Brad the last word. I don't hate Michigan. I was pulling for them because i know Kevin is a big fan; and he is my friend, or was anyway  I think me not being a fan helps me to see things from a different perspective. I don't care for liars or cheaters; I try not to use the word hate. I don't like what college football has become. I might have watched 2-3 quarters of college football this season; OU v Texas and OU v OSU. I would rather go watch some local high school sports, or kids play, which is what I did last night. I do read about sports in the news almost every day.

Keep the conversation going. No reason not to bust balls on my count. Bust 'em if you got 'em!!!!

Like I said I was just interested in the conversation. Not any desire to have the “last word”. I’m the same way about football in general anymore. When I do watch it’s to see how the kids play and the deeper strategy of the game. Usually I’ll catch the all 22 of a good game after the fact so I can skip the idiotic commentary and the stupid commercials.

I mostly ignore all the political grand standing surrounding the game. The harbaugh character assassination did get to me though because I know he’s a stand up guy who genuinely loves his players. I don’t care for the ncaa as an organization. They’ve lied, cheated, and taken advantage of the players for far too long.

It’s all good, Tom. I was trying to understand where you were coming from and now I do. As an outsider it would be much easier for you to have an honest unbiased opinion.

In the long run, I think we push most things in life to the limit that we can get away with, and to that which is considered normal. Other than the couple fanatics that took it a little bit too far, I believe that’s all that has gone on.

He really does love his players. He would adopt JJ if he could.

Not surprised he left. The way the university drug their feet on contract negotiations is to blame imo.

He does love being places he’s passionate about. Hope he does well there.
