I’ve had hit or miss luck on soldering/plastic weld the tank seam on a few saws. Sometimes it works sometimes not.

Me too. I find Stihls are harder to weld than husky.

Well got this saw required and running fairly well. I like it. I think I’d like it better if the Governor was plugged. I may be selling this saw to bolster my lathe fund.

I love 288s I debate here and there selling one, wanting a 390. But I sure cut some big wood with my 288s.

Keep the 288 if it’s running good. 390’s run well but I’d rather have a 395 over the other two. The weight doesn’t feel any different to me with B/C ready to cut and the power difference is noticeable.

Thanks for input amigo. I have two 288s, one 395, one 3120. 2101, ms460, 455 rancher just got for free, two 335xp top saws, one ms 200, and 2 echo pole saws guess I should be happy but I know always wanting more saws. Oh yeah 372xp 2
