The 575 is a sweetheart, possibly the smoothest saw I have run powerwise and vibration. I should keep it but I'm more of an old school guy. My heart is in the 2 series huskys.

I was eyeing the 017, as I thought it suitable to set up as a carving saw. Not to be superfluous, but my wife wants me to try my hand at chainsaw carving.
