Every saw I do tunes around 1 on the low and 1 on the high. I don't tune rich on the low and I tune the high where the saw wants to run. I don't check rpm often but there usually around 14500

For certain, I've talked about it with him,I think I'll try numbers close to his,maybe a little higher exhaust.

Well I was planning on getting my 066 machined with the OEM piston, but if I am going to all the effort of chasing someone with a lathe to help with the work, I may as well invest in a 288 piston as well.

Any comments on the Meteor 288 piston?
I doubt husky parts are and better price wise than Stihl parts here in the lucky country.

There's always more kev. It's deciding it's good enough that's hard for me.

I'm a firm believer in less is more,knowing when to quit is a big part of porting and the hardest part to learn.
