I'm a huge tobacco fiend, used to dip at work and smoke at home. Favorite cigs were unfiltered Pall Malls, but I also enjoyed pipe and cigar. Favorite dip was Copenhagen, also chewed alot of Levi Garrett and Cannon Ball plug. These days I only do 2 mg nicotine pouches. It's kind of a wonder I'm still alive, considering I used to also drink at least a six pack a night on top of all the tobacco and my diet has always been terrible.

Here is my cigar go box for spring field work & long days in the truck. it’s just a little 5 qt f sliding flip top Coleman.

I glued a piece of oak in it to make separate compartments, I drop a gel cold pack in the small side & use the larger side for my accessories & a baggie of cigars.

I usually pack 4-6 cigars & in the tractor the cooler sits by the door so I don’t want my stogies getting too hot so they can be put back in the humidors.

I just swap cold packs each morning, overkill ??? Probably but I am happy with it & it holds all my accessories & stogies in one spot, thus I don’t have to dig thru my pockets for stuff or carry it.

How was it ?

It was really good. Nice and smooth, with just a touch of spice. Draw was perfect. Only complaint was the construction. It burned even, but as I got to the final 3rd, the wrapper started cracking and coming apart and I wasn't even smoking it fast at all.

I have 2 more, so we'll see how those hold together, but overall........7 out of 10. It would be a good day time cigar for me.

I'm pretty disappointed with all 3 of the lighters I just bought. They all have a sweet spot, where they'll work. Too high, they won't light. Too low, they won't light. It's not a huge deal, but considering I bought a cutter and lighter years ago, for like 10, or 20 bucks for both and that lighter works great, it's kinda crappy.

How's the Vertigo work for ya?

I have 3 of them they work pretty well, I carry the black one in my go box, a larger red one in the semi & the other one is still in a box. They do get hot if you toast to long.

This is pretty much my carry lighter, it has a fuel level window & 2 punch cutters in the base lid.

For carry, is exactly why I bought the Jet Line and the Xikar lighter/cutter combo.

The Jet Line has a built in punch on the bottom. That's a nice feature.

I keep my little single flame Montecristo lighter by my bed, for my cigarillos at night. It probably works the best and came with an ashtray. So it was cheap.

The Xikar combo is way overpriced for how little adjustment there is.

I have a vertigo just like that. It’s good. Has been.

if that xikar is acting like that I’d send it back. They’ll give you a new one or get it working right.

just curious what exact brand fluid you running?

Maybe I need to contact them. 130 bucks for something that finicky is pretty disappointing.

My favorite cigar is the Montecristo Platinum. I'll have to try the oscuro.

How many times has that fuel been refined ? It should say on the can. I have read that some fluids can goober up lighters.

Sometimes the igniter tip just needs adjusted a bit.

I’ve got some platinum. I won’t restock those. Not terrible but these are special. They need that lay down time you mentioned. The. They turn into great cigars.

man like @JimBear mentioned fluid is finicky. I’ve got a big table lighter I burned all my sub par fluid through cause it would burn anything. I switched to colibri fluid and it cleaned my lighters up that were acting funky. Like I won’t buy any other fluid.
I know for a fact there’s other good ones. I just found that this stuff works good so I’ll never change
Like even my old sputtery lighters started working good after a tank or two of the colibri

This is the 2nd one of these I have had, they burn great but otherwise I am unimpressed with them.
I concur. I don’t like any of the undercrowns the way other people claim to. Sun grown is equally as bad as the shade. Maduro Meh. I’ll smoke it if someone gives me one
