Chipped plating/cylinder

Hi! Just pulled the cylinder on my new to me 238SG and it has a chip in the intake port. Should I be worried?

I cant feel all the lines in the bore, the flash makes it look worse than it is.

Looks like a chunk gone on the edge of the port to me. what does the piston look like on that side?

Piston looks completely fine

Knock it smooth with a bit of grinding and sanding. If it was me i would lower the port evenly all the way across the port.

Lowering the port was also an idea i had. Buy maybe it will be lowered too much?

Nope you’ll be okay. Grind it, then chamfer!

I'll do that, then the problem is completely gone
