As a moderator I can edit, and/or add "tags".

I made three. See if you can guess which one's.

Your tags wouldn't be funny anyway

Wait, you made only three? That mean the others are automatically generated??

@BrokenSVT , or should I call you Broken046,

I'll gladly redo that saw for you for parts and shipping costs.

If a member here wants to donate a 460 jug, that would be great. If it turns out that I can save the jug on it, I will return the donated jug.

Creating a thread was a joke. Any findings would be between SVT and me.

I'm not implying any wrong doing in Randy starting this thread.

@BrokenSVT No problem with me if you go with Al. With the high probability that you need the cylinder replaced and all the subsequent rework needed to be done, he straight up would be the better man for the job than myself. No guff and no hurt feelers either. ;)

Damn, Greg I'm sorry to hear about your 046! Hopefully it can be salvaged. Based on our conversations though, I think you're at a crossroad: sell all your saws on Craigslist, buy a new saw with a warranty and delete your account here and at AS, or go down the rabbit hole, tear into that 046 and your 026, order a wiha set and and a mity-vac and buckle up for the ride. There's no going back...

Which will it be, the blue pill or the red one?

Ryan, at the risk of sounding sappy, I want to say that I count you among my true friends. I appreciate our almost-daily conversation, and I appreciate your original concerns for this issue, which brought me here to snoop around.

Send it to me. I'll start a thread.

Doc is a class act, that's for sure. I don't know if I have a good 046/460 jug laying around but I will look @Canadian farm boy

I'm truly humbled guys. I certainly didn't come to OPE to request or expect any sort of support. Matter of fact, I never dreamt I would need it with this particular saw.

You guys truly are a class act. I'm not sure when I'll have the funds for parts. School supplies for four of the five kiddos, and birthday for the eleven year old next month take precedence over the play budget, I'm afraid.

I'll figure something out. I'll be needing this saw into the fall season. Grr.

I appreciate your reaching out, and your insights into the situation. If your word is to send it Doc's way, I'll respect that.
