The market knows a good product, its reflected in resale price. A good port job by a quality builder will add value to a saw and sell fast. A poor discounted job by someone who offers no consistency gives the opposite result. Just look how JMS saws sell in the post, unless they are super cheap no one touches them, the port work does not add value to the product. I honestly would much prefer a stock saw over a JMS saw as at least I'd know what I was getting. He will only continue to get away with his bad dishonest practices as long as good men turn a blind eye to it. Many of us care about this community and its members both new and old. For that reason it is imperative cases like this are publically aired. Otherwise it will happen over & over again. People like Jason will get away with what they can for as long as they can. Its our responsibility to stop him in his tracks. That's what men of character do. If you are not up to the task, I get that not all folks are cut out the same way but don't get in the way of those doing the heavy lifting for the benefit of us all.

Would it have been better if he claimed to give it "the optimum blend of torque and rpm"?
