Hey guys,

I've noticed significant markdowns on chainsaws, chaps, files, chains, etc, etc, yet I rarely see major markdowns or any particular brand of bars marketed on the super economical end.
What do you all use for economical bar replacements?
The best prices I've seen have been the Forester Bars over all, perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places.
Maybe it's something in the water, but the bar prices seem to be going through the roof...I guess it goes with the territory as well.

Have you looked at some of the Raisman bars from HLS? Ive got a couple and work for me. Of course this is a hobby and Iam not cutting very often.

I buy all the old stock bars at my locals. They're usually older high quality that no one wanted to spend the money on.

Left coast supply is my other favorite source.

What mount and size are you looking for? @fordf150 has some really good clearance pricing on older Total branded bars.

performanceoutdoorequipment.com
Do you know if this Total bar will fit 026-044??
Looking at the link you sent & Total Bar catalog and can't seem to find this bar and what it matches up to...:(
Total 2 20" 3/8 .050 72DL Laminate T202WL4-X

This one? Absolutely it would be what you are looking for.

Or this one for $4 more...

I would PM Nate and ask, he might have some 16" ones too. I can't remember if the one I bought was Stihl mount or Husky but it was dirt cheap too.

Thanks GCJenks204...he definitely has some sweet deals on there for sure.
WOW!!!:clap::babeando::babeando::babeando:
I could stand a 16'' or two & 2 20"bars 3/8.050 for the above mentioned range of saws.
It's really weird or a marketing ploy to wade through tons of bars and see how few will fit the Stihls I run and buy the most.
I only need a couple for personal use...mostly for flip saws and fixer-uppers.

Just have to be patient and buy a bunch when the deals pop up.
For example, you want cheap, theses are really cheap. 3 bucks.
D009 this time not d025 though.
Buy a half doz and shipping ain't bad, shipping weight at 1lb for some reason.
Great for flippers...

Re-branded Carlton. They work fine, a little heavy.
They also have combo's for a 'call us' price.

Hmm....not shabby at all.
Couldn't they be converted or could you use an adapter for 3/8 .050 or something for flipping?
Gotta be a way to work this and not add additional cost if you sell a few here and there??
