Chainsaw parts storage

I have a 40'×60' garage, and too many hobbies. The front 36'×40' is heated, and where I spend my time in the winter. It's always a mess, due to jeeps, quads, dirt bikes, and chainsaws. I fix my own vehicles, as well as my 3 kids' vehicles. What do you guys do to organize things? Shelves? Boxes? Totes? Are your saw parts all thrown in boxes or does each part have its own location?

I throw em together in totes or crates, but usually can't find what I know I have. Haha

I put the new or important parts on a shelf and all the other misc. and used go in the crates under the bench

Why would I talk about him? He never did anything wrong to me. Always seemed like a good guy, just posted too many snackie pics in other people's threads. No biggie

Neat Labels/ labelmakers are fine, but not so much as you get older, I prefer the quick Blue Painters tape w/ fine-point marker. (Helps that I can still write legibly, LOL)
