What do you guys used to remove this sticky mess of lube? I an operator to use it in the gear box of a finish mower whose seal was leaking badly so it is all over the place. I tried fuel mix but it barely removes it at any decent speed. Now I remember why I don't like the stuff.

I did try Purple Power degreaser with no luck. I would need to look for the SuperClean; although, Greased Lightning may work as well. I know it was the only thing that cut cooking oil off the kitchen cabinets.

Depending on what state you are in. Tornado cleaner. But you have to be careful as it can eat certain metals like some aluminum and magnesium if you let it sit.

It makes pretty much everything else on the market look like a joke. It's what I use to clean grease/oil off motors and hydraulics.

Worst case, if none of the water based caustic degreasers work, you can always try brake cleaner?

Can you find a hot water pressure washer? That would probably cut through it.

Alcohol. Of course I'm blessed with a healthy supply of industrial grade from work.

Works way better than whats in the parts cleaner.

I use GoJo citrus hand cleaner to remove pine tar and sap, it works well on grease too. For everything else I use Simply Green, which works well on oils. I went into my garage and tried removing crud from a chainsaw bar, only letting it sit a few seconds and then rubbing with a cloth.

PB Blaster - no effect
alcohol - no effect
Simply Green at 1:10 (?) - removed oil, did not removed caked on stuff
Carb Cleaner - removed everything including some paint.
