Chains: Used Once, Never Sharpened?

I have a meat hook full with end of life "remove one stump and You can retire" chains.

On large stumps it can take two loops, although I can sometimes remove two smaller stumps with just one loop - either way, I get rid of stumps and squeeze every bit of life out of my chains without sacrificing a good work chain.

Like using a chainsaw when you cut the opening for a door or winder. You figure on hitting a nail or 2..

That don't worky in Europe, for the most part!

I have been looking for some abused chains to use in videos.

I found the mother load. In the pics it was only showing 3/8LP chains, when I got there I found 36 chains. Mix of

404 - 27X, RM and husky H57
3/8 - 2 X Stihl RD Carbide chains!!, a whole pile of Stihl RM and some Oregon LGX
325 - 4 X Stihl 26RM

A whole pile of Oregon 91PX chains and 3 X Stihl full chisels

$30. This is like heaven for a guy like me

Less than $1 per chain.

All you have to do is make 1 or 2 usable to be ahead!
