Very nice!
I have sprayed it on plastic and it did not do good.Kubota orange looks good but is not perfect match . If it is an older saw I would leave it original! Most buyers want it this way IMO
That would make sense, but I don't plan on selling this saw anytime soon. When it wears out I'm gonna do a full rebuild and use it for another who knows how many years. lolKeeping original color holds resale value

Thanks! Yeah this saw is brand spankin new actually. haha Doesn't even NEED a paint job! I just like the looks of a blue and white saw.Kubota orange looks good but is not perfect match . If it is an older saw I would leave it original! Most buyers want it this way IMO
You should buy a Makita and paint the top cover whiteThanks! Yeah this saw is brand spankin new actually. haha Doesn't even NEED a paint job! I just like the looks of a blue and white saw.
I have only used it on hand tools (wrenches, pliers) sounds interesting. You have a nice avatar.Anyone tried Plasti dip paint ?
Pretty sure they are talking the ford white matches well.Is is Ford white or grey? I bought the Ford grey, but it is a little "too" grey to match the Stihl colors
That saw looks awesome! I had thought about doing the same thing to an 036 but haven't been able to picture it in my head. That looks better than I thought it would! This was a "custom" built 066 I did for a buddy of mine. It has a few aftermarket parts on it including the plastics. He wanted the saw built as cheap as possible. The plastics are farmertec brand. Each piece was a different shade of orange. So we decided to paint them. View attachment 4463View attachment 4464
That saw turned out nice. I'm not sure that I will paint another one quite like that. Maybe check this thread out. http://opeforum.com/posts/28042/That saw looks awesome!
