Anyone coming to the gtg have a bar rail closer? The sawzall blade/hammer thing didn't work. Chain's sloppy in the rails preventing me from any milling.

Did you look at the drivers J? They may be to far gone. Your other option is to step up to next size gauge.

I fixed my .50 ga with 2 pcs of metal band material and pounded into submission

Can you sand the .065 down to tighten all little. The bar will spring back some.

J you need to use a blade thats closer to your driver size.

Blade is 65, chain is 63. I'll have to find something else to use cuz I didn't get anywhere. I beat on it harder than I thought I should. Used the anvil on my vice for a base.

Multitasking J you could also grind the rails down enough to get the drivers into where the groove isnt worn. I had to do this on a 32" where the chain would lay over to far in the cut.

Did you easterners visit the ebay/cl thread today? Pretty good buy in NJ on some stihl stuff
