We have a decent pavilion. Are they calling for rain already?

Edit. Just looked. Right now rain on Friday, sat looks like a perfect fall day for a campfire.
If you're looking for warm and cozy, my house is down the hill. Might be an option at some point for little ones. My wife isn't very into chainsaws so I doubt she'll be there for much.

Ok. So I figured since some have asked, I better put up a time for starting, ending, and most importantly, food. You guys can show up anytime. Ill be there around 8 and I'll stay until night fall. We have a fire pit so if you want marshmallows, bring them along. I'm planning to eat lunch at around 12-1. The gtg is at the top of the hill. Go up Providence lane and stop when you get to the corn fields. I should have a sign at least at the bottom of the hill. My cell is 717-402-1001. Call if you need anything the day of and pm me or ask here if you need something sooner.

Food stuff we could use would be picnicy sides, drinls, and dessert.

I'm figuring on 35-40 people woth kids so we'll go through some food. Our chicken pit is set up to do 1/2 to 3 racks. If you're planning for that many ribs maybe I'll just do a half rack. That's still 40lbs and it's no problem to shrink my order.

I plan on eating ribs. I get chicken any time ;)

PS. when we do family gtgs we do 240# for 130 peeps.

Lol. I'm having a hard time saying it, but I think 9 racks is plenty. I LOVE ribs:)

We have electric in the woods. Enough for the fridge a roaster and of course the coffee pot.

Had a few minutes this evening to fine tune 2 chains. Got all the saws ready.
Keith, I plan to surprise Andy with that saw so just leave it with your arsenal and don't mention it. I'm going to swap out the bar and chain with another set up I'll have along. Then maybe get him to run it and "see how he likes it".

Kris, I was thinking of bringing drinks, plates and plastic utensils. Sound ok?

That'd be great. I was going to pick up plates and utensils this week but I can cross that off the list. Ty.

I only trust those weather hacks about 2 days out. 6 days is pushing it :eusa_liar:
Supposed to be in the 80's the next 2 days. :aplastao:
