Hello. There is nothing wrong to use mineral oil. synthetic Oil is hyperbole in a 2-stroke engine. Castrol and blue marble are 2 mineral oils that Will protect the engine dam good.
Yeah my 562 doesn't like mineral oil, kept sticking the ring

Yeah I'm in QLD cut all the really hard hardwoods and in 40c heat week in week out when I worked for the family sawmill. My dad and brothers run the same oil none of us ever babied saws we work the guts out of em lol push saws to there limit but not found that limit as far oil goes never an oil related problem running the above Castrol mineral oil.
That's just my long term real world experience running this oil.
We saw another brand refuse warranty because the Graden 2t had been used in a demo saw that seized. Even Castrol backed the other manufacturer's claims that the oil wasn't up to the task.

What ratio was it run at 50:1? seems to be the epa norm from saw manufacturers now day's I personally wouldn't run any mineral oil at 40 or 50:1 myself.
Stihl used to state in the manual's if not running Stihl oil run 25:1.
I'll keep on using Active and Garden mixed at my ratio as I said never had an oil related problem my old Stihls are schmicko on the inside.
