YuppersIt's likely a crank seal.
Yuppers
And probably the clutch side that gets wet and seals better, or the fly side that gets drier.
The diaphragm carbs on a saw don't really get affected by position. There's no float.
Could be but I don`t think you`ll know until you press/vac test it.Yea it has new bearins, seals, piston, I did a base delete could that be leaking and causing this? Im not saying it's not the seals I don't know
Had the saw out it runs good everywhere until it's on its clutch side then it gets rich it seems like I can smell gas too then if you tip it straight once it clears up it runs good againIf the metering lever is too high it could cause it to run fat in certain positions. Get it idling, then tilt it bar down.....does it stumble?
No I never did replace the oring but I'm gonna see what new fuel line does first do you know for sure on the size? 3/16?Tank vent is venting liquid fuel into the crab area? I've never had that happen and I've built several of these saws. If bet that the oring on the oil pump didnt get replaced or is tore. Its easy to forget that oring but a vac test will tell all.
