Actually I've heard that due to no oil being needed these were used in MEAT PACKING plants in the old days.

They do work for animal carcasses, but I doubt they were run inside plants due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

My uncle ran one in the field before he took his cattle to the meat packers

I said in the OLD DAYS... I doubt anyone cared about saw exhaust back when these things were made...
