Model is a Red Max EBZ 4800 back pack blower. Carb is walbro wya-24-1. Hi speed screw not easily located. Ideas?

I would think it is side by side with low speed mixture screw. If not it probably doesn't have on /. Some one will be along or ask for an "IPL" and check out the carb section.

If there is a high adjustment, it is under a small plastic plug in the side of the carburetor body. The low adjustment is in the middle of the throttle rotor. Not all of those carbs are adjustable—if you post a picture I can tell you if it is or not.

That one looks to have a fixed main jet. Item 19 in the parts list.
Removable jet, but of course have to pull the dogoned carb for every change.
I have no idea if Walbro sells various jets for it though.

Assuming the cost is worth it vs a new carburetor...
I think I would try giving the carb a serious cleaning and a rebuild new kit.
Make certain to clean that main jet.
Don't reuse any diaphrams if the kit has the bit to replace it.
See if that helps?
