Cobey, you might try filling that saw with TruFuel and see if it runs on it. I had a gummed up carb apart and didn't have any cleaner to flush it out so I used some canned fuel. I watched that stuff just dissolve the gummy film from the diaphragms and parts!

Anybody else notice how adding VP in a saw that has been running pump gas for years will cause the diaphragm to harden? I have had this happen 3 times now. Saws were running fine on it's tank of Ethanol blend, filled it with VP/Ultra mix and partway through the tank it starts acting up. Pull the carb apart and the metering diaphragm is so stiff it crinkles.
