Do the 357 dogs fit w some mild drilling??

I'm try to remember what model they came from but I did an easy swap w another bucking spike and it works well

Yep 357/9 dogs fit. IIRC have to elongate one hole or trim a little off the back (it's been a while). 357/359 inner dog will also fit 257,261,262. Big dog kit will fit but the outer dog doesn't line up w/inner dog (about a 3/16"- 1/4" long). Just for info the 357/9 full wrap carry handle will fit 346. Just have to drill one mounting screw hole on the bottom.

455 dog fits, it’s not as nice as the OP’s solution but it’s functional. Think I had to grind just a little off the back side but the holes line up.

Nah, they flip over for more convienant fluid fill ups. Husq was thinking about the user when they designed it. As is, set it down and while you reach for the fluids it goes ahead and assumes position. This is just another example of why Husq is "Saperior"!
