That's a great way to end your season that's for sure! Saw 2 doe last nite but let them walk by hoping a buck was behind them sniffing away. they have been chasing does around the house.I guess a crossbow buck is ok here. Bought one this year cause I just don't practice enough to shoot more than 20 yards. Don't enjoy shooting my bow since my wrist has pins in. Any how 25 yds last Saturday my pa season ended. [emoji38]

saw a buck chasing a doe around in the big wheat field behind me this morning. go figure.
Haven't been out yet with it being so warm but found this in my back fencerow yesterday. Cooling down so I'll be getting out next week and be looking for the guy that made this rub.So anyone doing any hunting this year? My season opened on Sept 15th. Its been so stinking hot I could drag myself into the woods! Well today was my last day off for who knows how long. I got all my stuff done today and was in the stand just after 4. Had deer around me not long after getting in the stand. Watched a little 6 point for an hour. Had probably 6 or 7 doe around. Finally decided to take a doe at 6:45. She was perfectly broadside at 18 yards. Had a great shot and double lunged her. She crashed less that 40 yards away! I was on a ridge top with White Oaks and was raining acorns!
It was to hot for runnin saws too but a couple of fuggers did it anyway.

two years ago we started seeing those big tiger "zika virus" mosquitoes. They will get u through 2 t shirts. U need atleast 45% DEET laid on thick.
