I pretty much quit hunting because of ticks. Ended up sick from another tick bite anyway.

Don't blame you, Amber had the same thing, takes long time to get over it, and she was young at the time. Doctors said that it will be with you all your life. esp. the joints!

Went out this morning seen a good looking little 4 point next few years he will be a good deer. And a raccoon. Back out now little windy probably 10 mph with some gusts around 15mph.

I rarely go out with more then an upper body net and face netting to keep the bugs away.

game cams, reading the trial and sitting you a$$ for hours is the only thing you need to do.

Nope unfortunately. The wind did lay down just before dark then the dang coyotes started howling about 60 yards away in a CRP field. But I'll be back in the morning. Hoping a fat doe walks thru.

Couple views from the stand this morning.




Bumped 1 walking out in the dark. Saw a doe with 2 fawns, a little later a nice 8pt that never gave me a shot, then a doe that ran down to my waterhole with a decent 8pt chasing..
I knew it was 30 yards. Yet in true dumbchit fashion, centered my 20 yard pin and hit the release..



Oh well. I'll take a clean miss over a poor hit any day.
