This is the best I could do for big bar with the wood I have around here. 42" bar, noodling some cherry that's been down for a year, 8 pin, half skip square ground chain. Anyone want a couple of nice shelf boards?

I actually millled about 1000 boat foot of it. You're welcome to whatever you want. It was cut down behind my house and I couldn't stand to see it go to waste.

I was presently surprised how well it pulled with an 8 pin. I wanted to give it a hard test with what wood I had around... I guess I should have put a 9 pin on it.

Did you look into the 2100 with a 3120 crank and a possibly a 395 top end ? I think I remember seeing an old post on one of the sites about that combo.
