Gonna through one more in the mix as my local shop has these on sale with rails and a red dot.
Winchester Wildcat $299
Has a 10 round clip. Supposedly the Ruger 10/22 25 round clips interchange but I've read about issues with that combo. Sorry for all the questions guys.
BTW just realized this gun is made in Istanbul. That may be a deal killer for me.
Here's what the Rossi version looks likeView attachment 321648
It was 116.00
I might get one this week.
They’re decent red dots. I’ve got one on a gun I don’t use a ton. I did have issues with a few vortex optics but their warranty always takes care of it quickly! Any reason you’re going with that combo? Just curious, I like a 3-9 on my 10/22 for my uses.Gonna make a purchase tomm. Any input on a Crossfire 4x//Red Dot combo scope before I make a $200 mistake on this optic piece. Thanks for all the input guys.
Red dot would probably be a better option for that stuff, my 3-9 doesn’t have a lit reticle but some do.I did find a NOS Marlin 60 in the box for $275 but it was gone the next day.
So yes, I did find a 10/22 Deluxe, semi heavy barrel varmint special. That gun should hold it's value and accessories galore.
@Dolkitafreak , Most of my shooting is up in trees under 50yds. I just figured the 4x would get me aimed quickly in a short field of view and still give me a red dot option up to 100 yds. They do make it in a 6x too for a little more but this is what he has in stock. What do you think? Is the 3-9x scope also a red dot combo??
Ok, I'll check that out tomm. The Red dot option only is $80. Thx.Red dot would probably be a better option for that stuff, my 3-9 doesn’t have a lit reticle but some do.

Those dots are killer, the shake awake is the best feature to have on one!If you go scope get one calibrated for .22lr
If you go red dot the sig Romeo 5
Is less than a hundred
Has a shake awake feature
I immediately bought a second one after trying one
Very easy to make hits to 100 yards.

Appreciate the info. The CZ 457 is an excellent rifle. I love mine. The adjustable trigger is a plus.
I also have a full stock 77-22 in .22 mag. After replacing the trigger, it's a good shooting gun. Ruger factory triggers leave a lot to be desired.
