Can one replace the nose sprocket on a Stihl .325” x 20” bar?IMG_4671.jpeg

I was ambushed by the previous owner. A .325” x 20” on a Stihl 045 Super with a 3/8” drive sprocket. Chain tension cranked up TIGHT!

Almost new bar lasted three or four minutes.

It doesn't look like a replaceable tip. As hot as it got, it is trash anyway.

It is possible. Finding the parts could be a challenge.

I will link to an ArboristSite thread I did on this (removing, cleaning, and replacing a nose sprocket). But I was reusing the original parts.
