Any of you all use any type of contraption to carry round bales behind an ATV? I am liking this simple design.

I'd check out some of the Draft horse applications. Lot of people have worked on moving round bales without hydraulics. Come up with something you can home build.

I've never thought of such. If you come up with something practical post it up I'm on flatland so it may be worth a look

That's a different take on what most people around KS call a bale buggy or bale trailer. A neighbor has one without the top arch (or at least not mounted as high). It works very well, but could use a longer handle on the hand winch for more leverage.
