I have a new Efco MT8200. I had never seen one before down here. Does anyone use them? How do they compare?
I don't know anything about them.
i agree on the plastics at least on the trimmers and brushcutters no matter what color they were new they are pretty much white now at least on the ones I've worked on they run great though.never been around their saws much but people like them around here.
I am a huge Olympyk / Efco fan, but I dig the obscure and uncommon saws.
They are hard to get parts for. If I was a production cutter, I would shy away.
They're cool.

How do you find the 999 compares with any other 6 cube saw like a Husky 2100 or 655?
@Love Cutting Wood You stole my pictures of GB bars to use on your website. Take your own, or steal someone else's.I am a new dealer in Washington State for Efco outdoor products. My company’s name is Schneiders Chainsaw Sales and Service in Tacoma Washington. I don't have problems getting parts for repairs. I have to agree that no one know about Efco products in Washington State however, I will be changing this. I have requested that the 8200 and the 7200 chainsaws be produced again. One of my customers complained about his shoulder and leg hurting from the power of our 77cc backpack leaf blower. I took it back and sold it to someone else at a discount. That contractor is quite happy this his machine. My future partner has said that their motors are well built. If anyone cannot get parts for their Efco equipment please let me know if I can help.
